BOCA RATON – The Mueller investigation that seemed to roll on endlessly for 675 days mercifully came to an end on March 22nd… or did it? We’re not so sure. The calls for “Impeachment!” “Treason!” “Collusion” and “Traitor” were thrown around like Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade confetti by Democrats during the hearings hoping that the results of the inquiry would cancel out the 2016 failure by Hillary to again quarter herself in the White House. No such luck. Mr. Mueller, according to Attorney General William Barr, came to the conclusion that Trump was innocent of all those charges leveled at him. In his own words: “The Special Counsel’s (Mueller’s) investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election.” And, as part of his four page summation of the report he stated he doesn’t feel that the President committed an obstruction of justice offense. End of story… so now you can go back to your Spring planting or cleaning out the garage? Not yet!
House Committee Chairs, Democrats Jerrold Nadler and Adam Schiff were unhappy with Mr. Barr’s synopsis of the report. They’re gearing up for war. They want the full unredacted findings presented to Congress and the public, right now. Are these purported attorneys not aware that secret grand jury information, intelligence sources that might infringe on privacy may not be made public? That’s illegal. They are scrambling. During these hearings, Schiff, the chair of he House Intelligence Committee and privy to the ongoing details of the investigation continually told the public that there was irrefutable evidence of Trump’s collusion with Russia. “There is certainly an abundance of nonpublic information that we’ve gathered in the investigation. And I think some of that nonpublic evidence is evidence on the issue of collusion and some….. on the issue of obstruction.” Even after Barr’s report last week he stated there’s “ample evidence in the public domain on the issue of collusion.” He’s the Democrat Energizer Bunny when it comes to denial and obfuscation of the facts commonly called lying.
And not to be outdone, Jew hating Democrat Representative Ilhan Omar and her buddy, Rep. Al Green, without stating grounds for such action, echoed one another this week, calling for Trump’s impeachment. Apparently, we must gear up for another year and a half of a do-nothing House of Representatives who will be diddling around with nipping at President Trump’s ankles until the upcoming 2020 elections. Must we wait that long for sanity in Congress? It appears so.
