Satellite Beach, Florida

Satellite Beach, Florida

Satellite Beach is a small community located on Florida’s Space Coast in Brevard County. Located just south of Patrick Air Force Base, Satellite Beach is situated along the central Atlantic coast, and lies between the Atlantic coast and the Indian River Lagoon. Its proximity to Patrick Air Force Base makes Satellite Beach a favorite of military families. It is the largest beachside community in South Brevard.

About The Community

Certainly, the beaches here are less crowded than nearby Cocoa Beach, and even the water seems to be more turquoise than it is at points further north. The coast is lined by low-rise condos except for the beachfront Pelican Beach Park, which attracts family crowds, especially on weekends. The beach is patrolled in the summer, and its shallow waters make it that much safer for children.
