About The Community
For centuries, Native Americans lived in the Blue Spring area but it was settled by Louis Thursby and his family in 1856. Orange City boasts many recreational activities in well-maintained parks, excellent City and County services, and low taxes. There are numerous shopping malls and restaurants and traditionally the local economy is service-related and light industrial. The local Florida Hospital Fish Memorial is part of the Adventist Health System and is dedicated to helping people achieve physical, mental, and spiritual wholeness.

NewsGuard works with Big-Tech to make it harder for you to find certain content they feel is 'missing context' or stories their editors deem "not in your best interest" - regardless of whether they are true and/or factually accurate. They also work with payment processors and ad-networks to cut off revenue streams to publications they rate poorly by their same bias standards. This should be criminal in America.
