A Missing Teen from Vermont Died in a Dirt Bike Crash


Authorities said that a kid from Vermont who was reported missing on Thursday perished in a dirt bike accident.

Around 2:00 p.m., according to Vermont State Police, someone reported seeing an unconscious male who had crashed a dirt bike down an embankment off Brookline Road in Athens. Officers report that the cyclist passed away immediately.

They recognized him as Grafton resident Ethan Whitten, 18, who had been reported missing earlier in the day and for whom they had requested assistance from the public in locating.
