264

According to deputies, a lady was taken into custody after it was claimed that she had shot and killed a 27-year-old woman at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Orlando in 2023. According to court documents,

Megha Saluja was taken into custody following her grand jury indictment for the December 2023 murder. Deputies reported on December 8 that they were called to the hotel to investigate a fatality. When they discovered 27-year-old Alana Jean Miccolis inside a hotel room with a gunshot wound to the head, they assumed it was a suicide based on “initial information.”

When detectives arrived, they claimed Saluja was the culprit because the circumstances didn’t seem quite right and they started to suspect the shooting was a homicide.

Saluja was indicted after information regarding the case was given to a grand jury and the State Attorney’s Office.

Nothing further regarding the matter has been made public.
