AVENTURA, FL — The Grant Cardone Foundation hosted an Economic Empowerment Workshop focusing on goals and leadership with 150 at-risk youth through The Circle of Commerce, which brings together multiple nonprofits from the South Florida community. Within Circle of Commerce, participants included: 5000 Role Models, Queen up Movement and Leadership; The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade & Festivities Committee, Inc. and The Circle of Brotherhood.
Several of these nonprofit organizations are dedicated to ensuring that minority students graduate from high school, go to college, vocational school, or the military, and be positioned to become a contributing and self-sustaining member of society.
The Economic Empowerment Workshop was led by the Cardone Training Technologies (CTTI) executive team leaders; COO, Sheri Hamilton and President, Jarrod Glandt who adapted the curriculum of the 10X Kids Program into their teachings. The workshop was designed to help students excel in professional topics such as goal setting, wealth creation, and resourcefulness.
“Through the Grant Cardone Foundation, we strive to continue providing a wide range of opportunities in helping enhance our future of tomorrow by providing leadership mentoring for youth of all ages,” says COO of the Grant Cardone Enterprises, Sheri Hamilton. “Investing in our youth for tomorrow is something important to 10X team.”
The entire 10X team welcomed the students into the 10X Headquarters where they were greeted by a personal video message from Grant Cardone and then enjoyed a personal tour of the Grant Cardone Headquarters with inspirational cheering from the entire staff as the students walked through the building. Each student that attended the workshop received a complimentary copy of the 10X Kids Book. The 10X Kids Book, written by the millionaire, best-selling author, and philanthropist Grant Cardone, is a financial literacy resource for adolescents to teach them about financial literacy and how to have a 10X mindset.
About The Grant Cardone Foundation:
The Grant Cardone Foundation is a national non-profit organization invested in helping youth in our communities reach their fullest potential. Entrepreneur and best-selling author, Grant Cardone, created the foundation as a result of experiencing the traumatic loss of his father when he was only ten years old. Growing up without a father figure in his life affected him emotionally, socially, and academically and so he has made it his mission to help young adults, who may need life and career guidance just as he once did. The foundation partners with community organizations, municipal agencies, corporations, and other non-profit entities to help deliver energy and educational resources to kids in need. Our mission is to provide mentoring and financial literacy education to adolescents in underserved and at-risk populations, especially those without a father figure.
