Slew of Drugs and Firearms Seized During Search Warrant In Deep Creek Punta Gorda; Three Apprehended, Taken To Charlotte County Jail

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, FL – The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant on Paramaribo Street in Punta Gorda, seizing numerous types of narcotics and various firearms.

According to authorities, during a thorough search of the residence, detectives located narcotics scattered throughout the home. Some of the items located were Fentanyl, Heroin, Methadone and Alprazolam pills, MDMA, large amounts of THC in various forms, and thousands of grams of Cannabis gummies. Additionally, ten firearms to include high powered rifles and handguns were also discovered within the home.

Detectives also located vacuum seal baggies, scales, and shipping labels consistent with the sale and shipping of narcotics.

“The sale of narcotics of any kind will not be tolerated in Charlotte County and I guarantee that you will be held accountable for it,” states Sheriff Bill Prummell.

As a result of this search warrant, three individuals were arrested and transported to the Charlotte County Jail.
