Woman Shot and Killed in Boynton Beach; Male Suspect In Custody

UPDATE 3/10/2020: Morris Samit, 78, has been arrested for Homicide. He will not be attending first appearance this morning.
BOYNTON BEACH, FL – Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a shooting in the 6800 block of Fairway Lakes Drive, in the Aberdeen Development, within unincorporated Boynton Beach this monring at approximately 8:30 am.
Upon arrival deputies located a female deceased from an apparent gunshot wound with a male also suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The male was transported to a local hospital where he is expected to survive.
Further investigation determined the male shot the female. Once the male is released from the hospital he will face homicide charges for the death of the female. The reason for the shooting is currently unknown.
