WELLINGTON, FL – Police say a man is dead from an incident where a 2019 gray Jeep Compass was doing donuts in a Wellington dead-end street when it over turned-over injuring several occupants.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle was doing donuts in the cul de sac of Stotesbury Way in Wellington with as many as ten occupants in the vehicle.

Two passengers who were partially outside of the vehicle on the window ledge were ejected when the vehicle overturned. Both ejected passengers were taken to St Marys where Troy Carrabis, 21, of Wellington died from his injuries.

After the vehicle flipped over, the driver and remaining seven passengers fled the scene on foot. Currently the identities of six of the passengers and potentially the driver remain unknown.
