Greenacres Boy, 15-Months Old, Dies from Drowning; Found Floating In Retention Pond Near Home, Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office Said

GREENACRES, FL – The Palm Beach County Deputies responded to the 2600 block of Canalside Drive in reference to a drowning. According to police, upon arrival deputies learned a toddler, boy, 15 months old, was found floating in a retention pond near the residence. The child was transported to a local hospital where he, sadly, succumbed to his injuries.

Detectives from the Special Victims Unit responded to investigate further. No additional information to add at this time.
