Detectives: Suspect Sexually Assaulted Woman in Lake Worth Beach

The suspect is described as dark skin black male, approximately 25-29 years old, 6-00, thin build, beard, wearing a black hoodie and black jeans.

LAKE WORTH, FL – Palm Beach County Detectives from the Special Victims Unit are investigating a residential burglary and sexual battery that took place in Lake Worth Beach early Sunday morning.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office, a black male, shown in the released composite sketch, entered into an apartment through an unlocked rear door in the 1000 block of North F. Street, at 5:00 am, Sunday morning.

While inside the residence, the suspect sexually assaulted a female resident. After being confronted by a family member of the victim, the suspect fled the apartment. Road patrol deputies arrived on scene and searched the area but the suspect was gone.

Palm Beach County Detectives from the Special Victims Unit are investigating a residential burglary and sexual battery that took place in Lake Worth Beach early Sunday morning.
