Palm Beach Police Seeking Driver of Newer White or Silver, Kia, Four-Door Sedan with Left Front and Side Damage; Involved in Fatal Hit and Run

Police are looking for the vehicle which is believed to be a newer white or silver, Kia, four-door sedan with left front and side damage. WEST PALM BEACH, FL – The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office is seeking information on a driver who fled the scene of a fatal hit-and-run incident which took place on Military Trail and Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach, yesterday at approximately 8:46 PM in the evening.

According to police, a pedestrian was traveling across the southbound lanes of Military Trail when a vehicle hit him with the front end of the vehicle. Subsequent to the crash, the unknown driver fled the scene.

The pedestrian who was later identified as Clifford Paul Rother, 61, was transported to the hospital for treatment, succumbed to his injuries and died early this morning at approximately 1:10 AM.

Palm Beach Police are looking for the vehicle which is believed to be a newer white or silver, Kia, four-door sedan with left front and side damage.
